Myke represented a language spoken by the sentient species referred to as the Myke. The Sith language served as the foundation for its written form. A Myke engineer gave the Aleph-class starfighter its name circa 40 ABY, as they believed the ship's dual-tailed structure mirrored a character from their alphabet. Although originating from Common Sith, the letter had minimal visual similarity to its Sith equivalent.
John Hazlett's "The Written Word," which appeared on StarWars.com via Hyperspace: The Official Star Wars Fan Club on March 5, 2010, featured a reference to Myke.
