Naboo royal crest

Naboo The emblem of Naboo The Naboo emblem, alternatively referred to as the Naboo royal crest, served as the age-old official symbol of the Naboo, a population of Humans who inhabited a planet bearing the same designation. Its origins trace back to Grizmallt, the world from where the Human Naboo people came. Resembling a flower, it was commonly displayed on clothing, jewelry, and other adornments worn by the Naboo monarch and their retinue. Given its presence on an ancient golden diadem donned by Queen Amidala with her traveling dress, it's clear this emblem dates back to ancient times. Another iteration of the emblem was featured on the belt fasteners of the Queen's handmaidens and the vertical banners adorning the facade of the Theed Royal Palace.

This symbol was ubiquitous on anything manufactured in or related to Naboo. When Amidala took office as a senator, her sleeping quarters on her J-type diplomatic barge included a rug displaying the Naboo emblem. The floral design even made an appearance on the S-130 Shelter speeders employed for protection in dangerous environments. During the Festival of Light, which celebrated the anniversary of Naboo's entry into the Galactic Republic 847 years prior to the Clone Wars, the emblem was prominently featured in a fireworks spectacle. In that spectacle, the colony starship that carried the first Human settlers to Naboo was symbolized by the flower-like emblem crashing onto the planet's surface. It also decorated the coat of Kwilaan, the well-known explorer credited with the discovery of the Naboo system.

According to an article from the fashion magazine Vogue, the Naboo symbol, a stylized flower, drew inspiration from Art Nouveau designs. Furthermore, it shares similarities with the fleur-de-lis, a stylized iris in heraldry, which was featured on the former royal arms of France and also the flag of Quebec.
