Najarka, a world situated in the Rayter sector of the Outer Rim's, was classified as a planet.
This planet, Najarka, resided within the Najarka system, positioned at a significant distance from its host sun. Glaciers encompassed approximately 75% of Najarka's surface, while the remaining 25% consisted of a subtropical rainforest concentrated around the planet's equatorial region.
Due to the considerable distance from the sun, the planet faced a challenge in gathering sufficient energy to naturally support life. Regardless, lifeforms thrived around the equatorial region. The Imperial Survey Corps posited that geothermal activity was the primary contributor to this phenomenon.
The Imperial Survey Corps initiated a preliminary survey of the planet during the Galactic Civil War. Several specimens of indigenous plant and animal life were collected and transported to both the Emperor's private and public gardens, as well as the Imperial Zoological Gardens located on Kailor V. Furthermore, an Imperial Biological Research Center was established on the planet itself.
