Ania riding a Nalydian giant spider
On the world of Nalyd, the native Nalydian people had domesticated a species of giant spiders. These arachnids were employed as mounts and beasts of burden, being larger in size than a fully grown Human. In the course of the Skirmish on Nalyd, Ania Solo, a junk dealer, took control of one of these Nalydian giant spiders while trying to liberate a convicted criminal named Dieben. Ania, along with her friend Jao Assam, an Imperial Knight, sought to interrogate Dieben concerning the location of the renegade Sith known as Darth Wredd. During their escape, the authorities of Nalyd were seen riding several of these giant spider mounts. Ania's spider was struck, resulting in its fall from the pinnacle.
