Namana cream pie

A type of sweet treat, namana cream pie incorporated namana custard, which was itself derived from the fruit of the namana tree. This plant was indigenous to the world of Bakura. Recipes specified that the custard component of the pie should possess a smooth texture, and the Bakuran-inspired dessert was often finished with atomically aerated cream as a topping.

This namana cream pie was available for purchase at Dex's Diner located on the planet Coruscant. This was before the restaurant's destruction, which occurred within the initial years of the Galactic Empire's rule. Dexter Jettster, the owner, advertised that he utilized an authentic Bakuran recipe in the diner's offerings. A single slice was priced at 3.7 credits.

Behind the scenes

The namana cream pie received a mention in "Dining at Dex's," a 2009 article written by Gregory Walker for StarWars.com's Hyperspace. The article was presented as a menu from within the fictional universe.
