Natalia Nogulich
Natalia Nogulich, an American actress with a birthdate of October 1, 1950, has showcased her talents across theatre, television, and film. In the Return of the Jedi radio drama, she lent her voice to the character of Mon Mothma. While Nogulich herself spells her given name as "Natalija," it is frequently credited as "Natalia" in many of her works.
Born in Chicago, Nogulich's journey began with participation in local theatrical groups. Her education took her to Illinois, Spain, Italy, and New York. She secured one of her initial television roles in 1980, appearing in an episode of Lou Grant, which featured her future Return of the Jedi colleague, Ed Asner. Her time in New York resulted in roles on Broadway in Hurlyburly and The Iceman Cometh in 1984 and 1985. Since the 1980s, she has maintained a consistent presence in television. She is perhaps best known for her portrayal of Vice Admiral Alynna Nechayev in four episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation and two episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Additionally, she has made appearances in episodes of series like 24, Bones, and The West Wing.
Beyond her acting career, Nogulich has also directed productions in both Illinois and the District of Columbia, and she has authored a novel titled One Woman's War. Furthermore, she has shared her expertise by teaching theatre classes at various institutions. Currently, she resides in Chicago once again.
