The Ithorian Nature Priests represented a select group of Ithorians chosen to enter the sacred Mother Jungle on their planet of origin, marking them as the Mother's elect. By utilizing the Force, they cultivated a deep connection with the jungle. While they occasionally journeyed to herd ships or other places throughout the galaxy, their ultimate purpose was to go back to Ithor's jungles and dedicate themselves to the Mother Jungle.
