The Nawataa Waterfall existed as a cascade created by the Chenataa river within the Kkowir Forest located on the world of Kashyyyk. The gateway to the Webweaver caverns was concealed from view, situated directly behind the waterfall.

The initial introduction of the Nawataa Waterfall to the Star Wars universe was in Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game. This game was a product of Sony Online Entertainment and was distributed by LucasArts. The game was eventually shut down on December 15, 2011.
