The nebula orchids were a species of flora native to Yavin 4, often observed thriving in the embrace of Massassi trees. These plants possessed elongated, woody roots and blossoms adorned with vibrant, swirling hues. Upon being cut, the nebula orchid's tendrils exhibited a writhing motion, accompanied by the release of its intensely purple-colored fluid. Shortly thereafter, this writhing would cease, and the tendrils would begin to constrict.
