The Nebulon 7 quadrant designated a region of space surrounding the Yavin system, and following the Battle of Yavin, it was governed by the Rebel Alliance. The name of this quadrant came from the Nebulon 7 group, an early supporter of the Alliance during the initial days of the Galactic Civil War. This zone teemed with YKL-37R light freighters, referred to by the Rebels as "Nova Couriers."
