Nerve disruptors were lethal armaments deemed unlawful within well-mannered star systems, as stated by Jedi Master Lene Kostana. Kostana, accompanied by Padawans Dooku and Sifo-Dyas, journeyed to the planet Asusto in pursuit of alleged dark side relics. There, they came across a band of Abyssin smugglers who were trafficking nerve disruptors with the aim of selling them. Dooku, in a fit of fury, killed the Abyssin and obliterated the nerve disruptors.
