Following the establishment of the New Republic, the budding galactic administration created a station on the world known as Carosi XII. This installation was situated in proximity to Newlife Point, which served as the sole inhabited urban center for the native Carosite race. Constructed within the flank of a peak that overlooked the northern coast of the Avuae Sea, its whereabouts were kept confidential from visitors from other planets. The chief officer of this base was Balderik Rajana.
