Nharpiras, primarily aquatic and diminutive amphibian carnivores, inhabited the Dagobah ecosystem. These meat-eating animals depended on their swiftness and the quick action of their mandibles to overwhelm and consume their victims before they could react. Their diminutive stature allowed these swamp-dwelling organisms to avoid being noticed by bigger hunters. Scranges hunted them for food.
