Norcuna, a Jedi Master of the Twi'lek species, specifically a Rutian male, dedicated his service to both the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic. During the Clone Wars, he held the rank of General within the Grand Army of the Republic.
Being a Twi'lek who exhibited sensitivity to the Force, Norcuna received education in its ways from the Jedi Order, ultimately achieving the esteemed title of Jedi Master. As the Clone Wars erupted, a violent struggle between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems that engulfed the galaxy, Master Norcuna enlisted in the Grand Army of the Republic as a General, leading clone troopers in combat on the battlefronts.
Early in the conflict, Master Norcuna was given an assignment in the massive Republic campaign that took place on the planet Jabiim. Alongside Generals Obi-Wan Kenobi, Leska, and Sirrus, Master Norcuna engaged in fierce and prolonged combat on the rain-soaked world, specifically in the vicinity of the city known as Choal. After his forces suffered significant losses at the hands of rebels commanded by Alto Stratus, Master Norcuna was left vulnerable, crawling through the mud as enemy forces advanced upon him. Watched by the Jabiimi Nationalists, Stratus seized Master Norcuna by one of his lekku and decapitated him using his steel sword while the Jedi recited the Jedi Code. Following Norcuna's demise, Master Leska assumed command of his surviving troops.
In 2003, a blue-skinned Twi'lek Jedi was featured as part of Hasbro's Jedi Knight Army multipack; however, no official connection has been verified between these two distinct characters.
