Nova (assassin)
Nova was a Human assassin of the female persuasion who operated during the time of the Galactic Civil War. Due to her actions, she became an enemy of the Rebellion.
Biography
During the height of the Galactic Civil War, some of Nova's adversaries managed to locate her after an extended search lasting several months. Nova, deciding to leave her current residence, gathered the few possessions she could carry and resolved to vanish once more within a densely populated Core World. By employing her skills in disguise and forgery, she managed to board a Corellian Translines transport heading to the Core region, using a false identity.
Personality and traits
Very little information existed regarding Nova's private life. However, she was characterized as being self-indulgent, and those who were pursuing her had discovered two specific pieces of information about her: she had an appreciation for Lorrdian ballet, and she suffered from an allergy to fur.
Behind the scenes
The original plan was for Nova to be featured within the article " Corellian Translines " in Star Wars Adventure Journal 16, an issue that was ultimately canceled. She is presented as the primary antagonist in the adventure concept titled Seek and Detain. In this scenario, the players, assuming the roles of either Rebel operatives or bounty hunters, were meant to attempt to board the vessel she was traveling on and apprehend her. Suggested complications involved a pursuit through a crowded passenger area, a blaster confrontation inside the ship's engineering bay, and a scenario where Nova would take a high-ranking member of the ship's crew as a hostage. As of yet, Nova has not made an appearance in any published material.
