The OKC-167 repulsor pack represented an evolutionary step beyond earlier, less sophisticated personal flight technologies. Equipped with advanced microrepulsorlifts energized by half a dozen power packs, it facilitated both horizontal movement and stationary hovering. In contrast to jetpacks, it failed to achieve widespread popularity among hobbyists and also did not gain significant traction within armed forces.
