Republic military uniforms
Officers in the Galactic Republic military used a number of standardized uniforms during the Republic's extensive and well-documented existence. As the Republic transformed into the Galactic Empire, the uniforms of Republic officers were modified and became the Imperial officer's uniform.
Description
Naval officers, Clone Wars era
In the Clone Wars period, Republic Naval officers were seen wearing a specific uniform style. This style persisted into the following era of the Imperial Military, undergoing only slight modifications.
- A double-breasted dress tunic and matching trousers, both in a gray-green color.
- A matching hat, adorned with the officer's disc.
- A black leather belt featuring a silver buckle, the buckle also displaying the officer's disc.
- Black leather boots.
- Optional black leather gloves.
- A rank badge worn on the left side of the chest.
