Oliver Ford Davies, who was born on August 12, 1939, took on the role of Governor Sio Bibble in the Star Wars films The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, and Revenge of the Sith. Furthermore, he shared the screen with Ewan McGregor during a 1995 episode of the crime series Kavanagh QC.
Davies also collaborated with George Lucas on Lucas's television program The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles from 1992, where he was listed as "Ship's Captain" in the initial movie, Young Indiana Jones and the Curse of the Jackal. In 1991, he acted with Kenneth Colley in the Inspector Morse installment titled Second Time Around.
