Orbital long range scanner

The ORL Scanner, or Orbital long range scanner, was a scanner manufactured by Loronar Corporation. This device, employed by both the Alliance to Restore the Republic and the Galactic Empire throughout the duration of the Galactic Civil War, was capable of identifying ships traveling in hyperspace from distances spanning numerous light years, thereby offering early notification of incoming hostile naval forces.
