The progenitor of Ommin was a Human male who originated from the Inner Rim planet of Onderon.
He reigned as King of the planet Onderon for an unspecified duration, until his passing, which is believed to have occurred around 4018 BBY. Following this event, his son Ommin took over as the ruler.
Enthralled by the dark side of the Force, Ommin's father received instruction in the ancient practices of the Ancient Sith from the spectre of his forefather, the late Dark Lord of the Sith, Freedon Nadd. Continuing the legacy of his forefathers, he passed on his knowledge of the dark side to his son, Ommin, after finishing his own training as an apprenticeship under Nadd's guidance.
