King Ommin's mechanical exoskeleton can be described as a metal frame utilized by King Ommin, who reigned over the planet Onderon. This exoskeleton served as a support structure for Ommin's entire physical form, a necessity that arose after prolonged and intense explorations into the dark side of the Force caused his bones to weaken and his body to deteriorate.

During his younger years, Ommin possessed the full range of movement and physical capabilities of an ordinary individual. However, his deep involvement with Sith practices led to a gradual corruption and distortion of his physical being by the dark side's influence. Over time, King Ommin's body deteriorated and became increasingly fragile. His skeletal structure weakened to the point where he could no longer independently control his limbs and maintain physical stability. Consequently, Ommin commissioned the construction of a durasteel exoskeleton to provide the necessary support for his body. This "metal exoskeleton" encased the King from head to toe, extending even to the tips of his fingers. The sheer size of the apparatus rendered him largely immobile, restricting him to his underground chamber. From this location, he received updates on surface events and, through his servant Novar, directed the course of battles.
Despite his limitations, he was not completely without movement. The exoskeleton afforded him a degree of mobility, allowing him to fully use his arms and legs, although confined to his lair. Furthermore, the exoskeleton augmented the King's physical strength. He demonstrated this by lifting Arca Jeth off the ground, holding the Jedi Master by the throat, before retreating further into the caverns with Arca's body. When Ulic Qel-Droma destroyed the exoskeleton, King Ommin collapsed to the ground, resembling an Arkanian jellyfish.
