Ornik was a EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate in service to the Rebel Alliance throughout the Galactic Civil War. This ship, working in conjunction with the Lance and the Lion, was tasked with initiating an assault against the Imperial-class Star Destroyer known as the Conqueror. The larger rebel ships deployed T-65 X-wing starfighters, RZ-1 A-wing interceptors, and B-wing starfighters for fighter cover, with BTL Y-wing starfighters providing additional support. The Conqueror countered with TIE Avengers from Avenger Squadron, as well as TIE/IN interceptors, and TIE/sa bombers.
The destruction of the Conqueror in this scenario, while influenced by player choices, is considered non-canon. This is because the Conqueror participates in, and is destroyed in, a separate engagement later in the timeline.
