Orsis Academy

The Orsis Academy served as a training center on the planet of Orsis, where individuals were instructed in the arts of assassination, tracking, espionage, and soldiery. Throughout its operational history, the Orsis Academy boasted a number of prominent students, including the bounty hunter Cradossk, his father Agnuk, and the Sith apprentice known as Darth Maul.

History

To refine his combat abilities, Palpatine, under disguise, enrolled Maul in the Orsis Academy at the young age of eight years. Trezza, a Falleen who served as the academy's headmaster, welcomed Maul without requiring a medical assessment. The typical training duration at the Academy ranged from four to eight years, and graduates sometimes returned for advanced skill development. Although the Jedi Order prohibited the school from training individuals sensitive to the Force, Trezza occasionally disregarded this regulation.

During his seven-year tenure, Maul swiftly ascended to become the Academy's most accomplished student. However, following an instruction from Sidious, he also annihilated the facility, resulting in the deaths of all students and faculty. Maul infiltrated the academy, entering the dormitories and eliminating every cadet within. He eventually located Kilindi Matako, Trezza, and Krakko in Trezza's office. Maul engaged Krakko in a brief conflict, which resulted in the cadet's demise. Trezza implored Maul to regain his composure, but Maul acted contrary to this request. Trezza launched a knife at Maul, but Maul employed the Force to redirect the knife back into Trezza's chest, causing him to collapse and die on his desk. He then killed Kilindi. Trezza's death signaled the closure of the Orsis Academy.
