Unidentified Ortolan merchant

An individual from the Ortolan species who engaged in commerce existed on the world of Dantooine. Following the Rebellion's movement to Hoth subsequent to their departure from Yavin 4, Princess Leia Organa and Luke Skywalker made their way to Dantooine with the purpose of obtaining provisions for their new base. The Ortolan merchant had explicit instructions to conduct sales exclusively with individuals who provided a designated passphrase. Once Leia correctly recited the secret password, the merchant revealed his hidden collection of armaments and resources, subsequently assisting her in transferring them onto their shuttle. He was a seller of goods on the planet.
