Following the First Order's seizure of the planet Oru, an Oruan resistance group materialized. This group, under the guidance of the tactician Mezlo, endeavored to expel the First Order from their home, but their efforts proved unsuccessful, compelling them to escape to Horizon Base. Subsequently, the Resistance became aware of the Oruan soldiers and launched a mission aimed at enlisting their support. Mezlo refused the Resistance's invitation to join them, but he volunteered to offer assistance should the need arise.
