Overload dispersal tube

Overload dispersal tubes functioned as parts within planetary turbolasers, for example, in the w-165 planetary turbolaser. This specific weapon system incorporated more than forty overload dispersal tubes; their purpose was to take in the weapon's extra energy, thus guaranteeing no explosions would occur.
