Publisher's summary
Almost immediately upon ascending to the throne of Naboo while still a child, Padmé Amidala found herself facing a severe planetary emergency, an event that would resonate across the entire galaxy. This marked the initial phase of a journey that would see her transition from queen to senator and, subsequently, to a champion of the Republic during the tumultuous era of the Clone Wars. It was also during the Naboo Crisis that she first encountered a young boy named Anakin, who was fated to become an integral part of her life. From her formative years on Naboo to her final, turbulent days, Padmé demonstrated the qualities of an intelligent, astute, and resolute woman – all indispensable traits for navigating the treacherous landscape of galactic politics for the duration she did.
