Padmé Amidala's amulet

An amulet, a trinket composed of transparisteel coupled with stone, was presented to Padmé Amidala by her parents upon her ascension to the title of Princess of Theed. Ruwee Naberrie himself unearthed the cherished stone from their familial lands, while Jobal Naberrie personally fashioned the amulet's clasp. In the perspective of the youthful Queen, this singular object encapsulated the entirety of love and protective care bestowed upon her by her parents. The amulet was suspended from a cord, intended for wear around her neck.

On one day, Amidala awoke, disturbed by a troubling dream filled with the imagery of laser fire and the loss of her amulet. She then noticed the amulet's absence from its cord. Sabé, one of her loyal handmaidens, entered the chamber and inquired about her Queen's distress. Amidala surmised that she had misplaced the amulet the previous day while venturing in a meadow. Before the others stirred, Sabé and Amidala secretly departed Theed, setting out to locate the missing item in the countryside. Sabé eventually discovered the amulet when its polished metal caught the light in the grass beneath a large tree.

Upon their return to Theed Royal Palace and subsequent entrance into the throne room, the Queen was informed that the Trade Federation had established a blockade around Naboo. Comprehending their required course of action, Amidala and her handmaiden kept their plans secret. Sabé donned the Queen's attire to act as a decoy, while Amidala disguised herself in flame-colored robes, becoming Padmé the handmaiden.

Fully aware of the planet's dependence on their actions and the heightened peril Sabé faced in disguise, Amidala entrusted her amulet to her cherished friend. This act served as a token of gratitude for Sabé's unwavering bravery. Initially, Sabé declined, asserting that it was an honor to serve, but Amidala secured the amulet around Sabé's neck, assuring her that the Queen would reclaim it once Naboo was secure.
