The sapients called Paiguns originated on the planet known as Paigu, and possessed a toad-like appearance. While their body structure resembled that of the Muuns, Paiguns were distinguished by their bumpy, scaled skin, and often demonstrated a greater aptitude for technology. Their affinity for mathematics and logical reasoning was well-known. Averse to combat, Paiguns generally preferred to delegate fighting to others. A significant number possessed talent in engineering and mechanics. Certain engineers, referred to as "amptechs", held the responsibility of upkeeping the enormous lightning conductors that supplied power to major urban centers on their tempestuous homeworld.
