The Paladins of the Adamite Tower represented a unique Force-based tradition. These warrior judges resided among the people of Weik, a remote planet situated far within Wild Space, long isolated from the civilized galaxy.
A starship met its end on the planet of Weik, specifically within the Ordan Spine Mountains. Vasque Mirlan, who claimed to be the captain of the vessel, led soldiers clad in white armor towards Vossport, leaving a trail of burned villages throughout the Karnik Valley. Armed with superior weaponry, Mirlan's forces initially overpowered the local defenses, until four Force-wielders wielding sunfire swords, ancient lightsabers of Jedi origin that had crashed on Weik millennia prior, intervened. Mirlan was slain, and his remaining soldiers scattered into the surrounding hills.
The four champions returned to Vossport, declining all offered rewards and titles. Instead, they requested stewardship of the distinctive tower visible in the Ordan Spine Mountains. Establishing themselves within the Adamite Tower, these Force-sensitive individuals founded a feudal society, dispensing justice and safeguarding the land from corruption and disruption. The Paladins became known as warrior-judges, inspiring both fear for their power and respect for their integrity.
Those who sought to join the Paladins were required to take vows renouncing their previous lives. They donned helmets, which they then covered with hoods. Each new member received a sunfire sword, which was then used to craft an Adamite Signet Ring by cutting a durasteel fitting from the remnants of the crashed starship and the base of the Paladins, the Adamite Tower, and carving the Tower's crest into the ring. When traveling, the Paladins wore reforged armor for protection against the primitive weapons of Weik's outlaws, wielding bows with quivers of arrows, and of course, their sunfire swords.
