Patrick Jordan, born on October 20, 1923 and passed away on January 10, 2020, was a performer from England. He played Siward Cass in Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope.
Alec Guinness was a friend of his, and he assisted Jordan in securing his part in Star Wars. They initially crossed paths many years before during a staging of Richard II. Jordan, similar to Guinness, was part of the renowned Old Vic acting troupe. Upon his death in 2020, he held the distinction of being its final surviving actor.
While his portrayal of Cass is possibly his most well-known role, Jordan also appeared in several other well-known movies, such as The Battle of the River Plate (1956) and Too Late the Hero (1970).
