PD-28's master
An owner trained the pilot droid PD-28, instilling in it a philosophy of helping others, with the expectation that such kindness would be reciprocated. The Galactic Empire seized PD from this individual, his master, sometime before 3 ABY. After the droid managed to break free from his forced labor under the Empire, he resolved to return to his master's side and began a search.
Behind the scenes
The master of PD-28 was referenced within "Battle for the Sunstar," which is the twentieth episode from Ewoks' second season, an animated show. Its initial broadcast was on December 6, 1986.
