While Peirs itself wasn't directly part of any adventure scenario, it was incorporated to provide contextual details about planets within the Kathol sector. The reference work The Essential Atlas, released in 2009, designated the Peirs system, and consequently the planet Peirs, as residing within grid coordinate M-21.
