He was in possession of a particular canister that both individuals desired; however, he was only willing to relinquish it in exchange for his demanded price.
This canister contained images featuring Boba Fett and Sintas Vel alongside their child. Instead of paying, the two hunters opted to engage in a conflict over the canister, leading to Pizztov's demise. Pizztov intended to fire a blaster at Fett, but his avarice and impetuousness resulted in poor marksmanship. Consequently, Fett retaliated, fatally wounding Pizztov with a single shot to the chest. Despite exhibiting moments of cunning, his lack of intelligence was evident in his decision to equip the canister with a death seal, requiring Pizztov's unique eye pattern for deactivation. Fett proceeded to open the canister, revealing the images, and subsequently put Pizztov's body up for auction.
