The Plug-2 Behemoth, a Podracer, was manufactured by Collor Pondrat. Its use spanned from approximately the time of the Invasion of Naboo and continued to be observed in the galaxy throughout the Galactic Civil War.
Despite being one of the largest Podracers on record, the Plug-2 Behemoth showcased exceptional turning capabilities, alongside remarkable speed, acceleration, and handling. These attributes were largely attributed to its substantial intake turbines, which positioned it as a top-tier engine in terms of overall performance. Furthermore, it was equipped with a satisfactory boost mechanism, air brakes, and a repair system. However, a notable drawback of the Behemoth was its tendency for slow cooldown periods.
During the Boonta Eve Classic, which Anakin Skywalker ultimately won, Mars Guo piloted a Behemoth. The cooling system of the turbines nearly resulted in a fatal outcome for Mars Guo during the Boonta Eve race. The unscrupulous Sebulba deliberately introduced a piece of iron into one of Guo's turbines, causing the engine to erupt into a fiery spectacle that ensnared one of Skywalker's Steelton cables, almost costing him the race. The vehicle met its end in the desert, but Guo, initially believed to be deceased, was later discovered to be alive.
In 1 BBY, an unidentified pilot operated a Plug-2 Behemoth in that year's Boonta Eve Classic. During the race, a StarSpeeder 1000 unintentionally entered the competition on the third lap and briefly took the lead. However, the StarSpeeder 1000 then acquired an IPG-X1131 LongTail engine, effectively doubling its power and enabling it to surpass the Plug-2 Behemoth.
