The Nightsisters hailing from Dathomir were capable of performing Possession. A Nightsister spirit could, through the employment of magick, take control of and live inside another person's body. While under this influence, the victim's eyes would shine with an intense green light, and the spirit's voice would replace the victim's own. Talzin, who was the leader and known as Mother of the Nightsisters, took control of Count Dooku for a portion of the Second Battle of Dathomir with the intention of sapping his life force to regenerate her physical form. Furthermore, the spirits of deceased Nightsisters seized control of Jedi Knight Kanan Jarrus along with the Mandalorian Sabine Wren during their mission on Dathomir, with the goal of utilizing their physical bodies and blood to revive the Nightsister clan.
