Pressure Plate Trip

The Pressure Plate Trip, a product of Zone Supplies, Ltd., served as a sensor. It triggered upon sensing a specific pressure threshold on its surface. Personnel and vehicles could be detected due to its adjustable sensitivity. It had two size options: a smaller version, 30 square centimeters and 300 grams, and a larger version, one square meter and a kilogram. For easy storage, the pad could be rolled. It also featured adaptors for connecting to various defensive systems, such as alarms, blasters, and bombs. Camouflage was aided by its availability in multiple colors. As standard equipment for the Imperial Military, the Imperial forces typically concealed the plate with a thin layer of dirt or other suitable local material.
