Processing Plant
The Processing Plant, a mining support facility, was constructed by the Telgorn Corporation.
Description
These Processing Plants were constructed as facilities to refine minerals taken from asteroids and other celestial objects involved in mining activities. Their typical placement was in proximity to asteroid fields and moons.
Designed to support human life, the Processing Plant featured a compact command center situated at the extremity of a lengthy central structure, along with a small hangar positioned within the central area. The total number of personnel assigned was 187 individuals. Although the station lacked weaponry, it was equipped with a shield generator.
History
Telgorn Corporation, a manufacturer of multiple space station designs, was responsible for the construction of the Processing Plant. Various groups utilized them. One Processing Plant, at a minimum, was in operation during the Galactic Civil War, providing resources to the Empire. This particular plant was AL-82673, located in the Kessel system's asteroid belt.
Behind the scenes
Despite the station's description in Star Wars: X-Wing Alliance indicating its use by "various" entities, only a single Processing Plant is depicted, specifically in Battle 6, Mission 7, titled "Family Reunion."
