Holodroid

PROXY, a holodroid. A holodroid, also referred to as a PROXY droid, was a droid model equipped with advanced holographic technology. They possessed the ability to alter their physical appearance and replicate skills as needed. They shared similarities with TC-SC infiltration droids and Jedi Training Droids in this respect.

Notably, PROXY served as a companion to Galen Marek during the era of the Galactic Civil War. After Marek's demise, a clone of Galen Marek was engineered on Kamino with the express goal of destroying the Rebel Alliance. As part of this clone's training regimen, Darth Vader tasked him with eliminating three Sith training holodroids that were designed to mimic Juno Eclipse, along with a pair of Rebel troopers. This test was intended to evaluate the clone's capacity to betray the legacy of his template. The clone swiftly dispatched the droids posing as Rebel soldiers. However, the ingrained memories and feelings inherited from his genetic source prevented him from harming the droid disguised as Eclipse. Vader, displeased with the test's outcome, destroyed the droid. He concluded that the clone was yet another failure, unable to overcome the emotional connection to Marek.
