Purple aliens were a thinking, feeling race from space, characterized by their elongated necks and nearly impenetrable hides. Several members of this species were known to frequent Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina in Mos Eisley, often carrying their distinctive, long-distance blasters.
Despite not being given a name in the Star Wars video game released in 1991 or its accompanying documentation, the Star Wars Hint Book provided the identification for these extraterrestrials.
