Quat Ralto

Quat Ralto served as both the chief of security and first officer on the mining survey vessel Bright Seeker. A man of unwavering competence and a rigid sense of honor, he treated everyone on the ship with respect, despite being a member of the House Calipsa crew. He was, by all accounts, a stern man.

Janos Marsh murdered him in the Bright Seeker's transceiver room when Ralto caught him communicating with the opposing House Melantha. Reacting on impulse, Janos killed him with a weak blaster blast aimed at his head. Crew members of the Bright Seeker discovered his body still smoking from the wound.
