Rana Mas Trehalt was a Duros woman of renown, a Queen of Duro whose name became legend. The Duros people, during her time as ruler, invented the hyperdrive, built space stations that orbited Duro, and began interacting with other species. Furthermore, Rana guided Duro's entry into the Galactic Republic. Her son, Dassid, took over after her, and he chose to follow the same path she had set. Sometime after, a monument honoring her was constructed in the Valley of Royalty. Even during the era of the New Republic, Rana was remembered with deep admiration.
