In the year 25 ABY, the ship, captained by Commander Warshack Rojo, functioned as the central component of a task force stationed at Ord Mantell. It was the closest significant warship to Dubrillion located in the Outer Rim, despite being a three-day journey at maximum hyperspace velocity from the planet.
Responding to a request for aid from Lando Calrissian's colony, the Rejuvenator and its accompanying task force, which included a dozen warships, several smaller cruisers, six Ranger-class gunships, logistical support vessels, and a crew transport, made their way to the colony. Despite Rojo's initial optimism, the Praetorite Vong annihilated the vessel and the majority of its task force during the Battle of Helska IV, marking the opening major conflict of the Yuuzhan Vong War.
