Repeating crossbow

The repeating crossbow, a ranged weapon constructed from contemporary substances, was a crossbow engineered to discharge a series of projectiles.

Description

This weapon, conceived by Drolan Plasteel, presented a visual hybrid of a blaster rifle and a bowcaster. Constructed from a featherweight [plasteel](/article/plasteel-legends] material, the crossbow possessed a negligible mass and incorporated a bottom-mounted container capable of accommodating ten arrows or quarrels. Following each shot, a fresh quarrel was autonomously inserted into the weapon's firing channel, and the bowstring was automatically drawn back, facilitating rapid-fire capability. The magazine for the repeating crossbow held 10 quarrels. The price for each magazine was 30 credits, and it weighed 1.2 kilograms. The Auto-caster represented a modified version of the repeating crossbow.

Hunters employed the repeating crossbow; furthermore, it served as a prized possession for individuals with a keen interest in historical artifacts.
