Reprieves

Reprieves is a piece penned by August Hahn along with Cynthia Hahn. This article served as a promotional tie-in for the Living Force roleplaying campaign. Wizards of the Coast released it on their website on January 13, 2005. The content detailed a meeting between Darrus Jeht and Kirasha, a Human adept of the Wyrd. He was ready to kill Kirasha to stop her from revealing the secret plans of the [Tarasin], plans intended to safeguard Force-sensitive people on Cularin. However, he found himself unable to carry out the act initially because she was in a meditative state, oblivious to his arrival. Observing her tears and witnessing her internal rejection of the Wyrd's principles, he ultimately decided to spare her life.

Within the framework of the Living Force campaign, Jedi player characters had the opportunity to eliminate a Dark Side point without needing to expend the Force point typically necessary for such an action.
