The RPP grenade was just one piece of equipment utilized by ARC troopers. A side effect of deploying this grenade was that it interfered with the sensor array built into the armor of the ARC trooper, necessitating a brief recalibration period to restore full sensor functionality. Consequently, standard clone troopers did not frequently make use of this grenade.
