Rin Assid, who carried the moniker "Assid the Lucky", existed as an almost mythical figure, a merchant from the fourth millennium of the Old Republic. Possessing a kind heart, he held a fondness for fine cuisine and beverages. He frequently amassed considerable riches, only to subsequently relinquish his newly acquired funds by aiding those less fortunate. Arlo Hirken served as one of his business associates. He is recognized for his role in popularizing the Aurebesh script across the galaxy. The respected Rin Assid Bulk Hauler was eventually named in his honor.
