Rin Shuuir
Rin Shuuir existed around 4000 BBY and was a Sith sorcerer. He once traveled with Utris, a Sith warrior, who was at some stage rendered unable to function. Shuuir employed a Sith healing amulet to bring his comrade back to consciousness, which necessitated the sorcerer to briefly diminish his capacity to utilize the Alter category of Force abilities.
Behind the scenes
George R. Strayton penned Rin Shuuir's debut in the 1996 roleplaying game supplement Tales of the Jedi Companion, which West End Games released for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game. The character's presence in the book was as part of an illustration of how a healing amulet could be used within the game.
