The moon of Rishi existed as a natural satellite orbiting the planet Rishi.
For six months out of the year, the temperature of the moon dropped to frigid levels, making it essential to utilize resources like Liquid Tibanna to provide warmth to any inhabited zones. Furthermore, the surface of the moon was characterized by numerous craters, which served as habitats for the sizable and carnivorous Rishi eels. The Neebray species also naturally resided on the moon.
In the period of the Clone Wars, the Republic operated a listening post called Rishi Station on the moon. During the conflict, General Grievous of the Confederate and his troops attacked the station with the intent of bypassing detection and launching a surprise attack on Kamino, the planet where the clone troopers were produced. Hevy ultimately destroyed the station by detonating an explosive within it at the cost of his own life. This action successfully ended the false "All-Clear" signal, thereby warning the Republic about the Separatist assault on Kamino.
