RO-D-series droid
The RO-D-series droid was conceptualized and built by Balmorran Arms with the dual purpose of functioning as a labor droid and a security droid for traveling musical artists across the galaxy.
Characteristics
This highly versatile droid, the RO-D, was designed to be multi-functional. It could operate as a labor unit, assisting with the transportation of equipment and the construction of performance stages, and it could also function as a mechanic, capable of repairing the very same equipment. Furthermore, it provided bodyguard services for the performing artists. The initial purchase price for a new unit was 14800 credits.
History
The RO-D model was created specifically for the Melody Fellowship as a direct answer to RetSpan Audionics' TribBot mimic droid, which had the ability to replicate the vocal characteristics of well-known stars within the Fellowship.
